USC Outsider Season 6 Week 11: ucla bRuins
It’s finally here. It’s Christmas for me. It’s all I can think about. It’s time to take back the bell…It’s rivalry week! All bets are off. Anything can happen. Who wants it more? How many other one sentence blurbs can describe the week that is USC vs ucla (Yes I still childishly refuse to capitalize ucla)?
I think about this day all year long. It means a lot to me and I take it personally. For Ric, I think it’s that way with Notre Dame. For me though, I at least have a small snooge of respect for Notre Dame. Do not mistake that for liking them in any way. However, with ucla, I hold nothing but disdain for them. I want USC to embarrass them every time and always.
I have been easier on Sark than some and have given him the benefit of the doubt up to now. Until this game (and ND) that is. After this game, if he loses, Sark will get no quarter from me. He MUST win this game. Haden must have made that clear to him when he was hired. It must be a “job requisite” at USC to beat your rivals.
I have pondered a question for a long time. Would I rather USC go 2-10 and beat their rivals or have a 10-2 season while losing to them? I can honestly say I’d rather beat the rivals.
