USC Outsider Season 6 Week 5: Arizona State
USC put up a quality win last week against the Beavers of Oregon State giving the Beavs a losing streak at the Coliseum of 137 years and counting. The defense bounced back and didn’t allow a touchdown (special teams did however). The offense, led by turnover free Cody Kessler, hummed right along and gave the Beavers a pounding… It’s funny every time.
This week the Trojans play a pissed off Az St team who got embarrassed at home last week by Cal’s satellite school. The Trojans may catch a break as the Sun Devils should still be without their #1 QB who is a good one. Can the Trojans play consistent football and keep things rolling or will they lay another egg? There are a lot of questions still with this young and roster thin team. Time will tell.
