Pittsy’s Picks 2013 Season Week One!
Let’s kick it off already! It’s been a long off season. There are a lot of questions and I don’t have the answers…or do I? Let’s find out. This season I will only be picking the top 25 games (and USC if, God forbid, they happen to fall out of the top 25). So, without further ado…
Thursday Aug 29th (All times PST)
3pm North Carolina @ (6) South Carolina I like the cocks. I’m just not going to say that out loud at a rest stop.
8pm (24) USC @ Hawaii The Trojans leave the island tanned and with a “W” in their back pocket. It’s not without drama though as we find out how a 2 QB system works.
Saturday Aug 30th
9am UMass @ (23) Wisconsin We don’t need no stinkin badgers! Actually we do. They win.
9am Buffalo @ (2) Ohio St Buckeyes have Buffalo steaks for dinner.
9:21am Toledo @ (10) Florida An SEC team actually travels for a game in the first 3 weeks of a season? I’m shocked. Gators still win because they still play a crappy team. Also, 9:21 am? Really?
10am Rice @ (7) Texas A&M Does Johnny football see the field? Doesn’t matter. Aggies still win. I don’t know if you know this but Rice still stinks.
12:30pm Temple @ (14) Notre Dame ND will not be title contenders like last years lucky squad. They will still whip the shit outta Temple.
12:30pm Cent. Mich @ (17) Michigan Wolverines in a blowie.
12:30pm Miss St. @ (13) Oklahoma St. Okie-sta should take care of business.
1pm Nicholls @ (3) Oregon Duckies roll against a team nobody has ever heard of.
2:30pm (1) Alabama @ Va Tech Not only is the Tide on the road in week one, they are playing a team which people have actually heard of and actively root for. That being said, Bama wins.
3pm Eastern Washington @ ( 25) Oregon St. Looks like the two Oregon schools forgot to schedule actual teams in week one. I like Beavers!
4pm LA Monroe @ (16) Oklahoma I have nothing to say. I don’t care. Sooners of course.
5pm N.Mex St. @ (15) Texas Hooker Horns
5pm (5) Georgia @ (8) Clemson In the game of the week, I like Clemson at home to ruin Richt’s season early. (Bold prediction of the week.)
5pm Wyoming @ (18) Nebraska Huskers win by their whiskers.
6pm (12) LSU @ (20) TCU Again, I am shocked by the fact the SEC is traveling and playing real teams. In fact, TCU might actually win this one. Might.
7pm (19) Boise St @ Washington I have never liked Boise St through all the hype and I still don’t. Huskies win.
7:30pm (22) Northwestern @ Cal All this time for a pickem. I know nothing of Cal’s new staff.
Sunday Sept 1st
12:30pm Ohio @ (9) Louisville Louisville just might go undefeated this year…because they play no one.
Monday Sept 2nd
5pm (11) Fla St. @ Pitt Semen-holes fill up the Pitt
